Scope
This policy applies to marsemit.com, downloads.marsemit.com, and related checkout, customer support, delivery, and refund interactions operated by MarSemIT LLC.
Information we handle
Support inquiries. When you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any order details you choose to provide.
Purchases through Stripe and Link. Stripe collects the information needed to process checkout, which may include your name, email, billing address, payment credentials, and fraud-prevention signals. Stripe, not this site, handles complete card, bank, or wallet credentials. We receive limited order information needed to deliver and support the purchase.
Secure delivery records. The delivery service records purchase and payment status, Stripe event and Checkout Session identifiers, customer name and email when supplied, amount and currency, access dates, download count, and last-download time.
Technical information. Hosting and security providers may process standard request data such as IP address, browser or device details, requested URL, timestamps, and security events. We do not use advertising trackers on this website.
How we use information
- Respond to questions and provide product, download, licensing, or refund support.
- Confirm payment and provide purchase-bound access to the digital product.
- Administer access limits, refunds, fraud prevention, and transaction records.
- Secure, troubleshoot, and improve the site and delivery service.
- Meet accounting, tax, dispute-handling, and legal obligations.
Service providers and disclosures
We use providers only where needed to run the website, process payments, and deliver purchases:
- Stripe, including Link, for checkout, payment, tax handling where applicable, receipts, fraud prevention, and refunds.
- Cloudflare for DNS, traffic routing, security, and data services supporting delivery.
- OpenAI Sites to host the public business site and secure delivery application.
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or security, investigate fraud, or complete a business reorganization with appropriate protections.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Retention and security
Support records are kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond and maintain business records. Purchase and delivery records may be retained for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, refunds, disputes, licensing, and compliance. The 30-day download-access window is not necessarily the deletion date for transaction records.
We use reasonable safeguards including HTTPS, signed Stripe events, purchase-bound download grants, and private file storage. No transmission or storage method is completely secure.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may be able to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of personal information, or object to certain processing. Email marcoa@marsem.org. We may need to verify your identity and may retain records required for legal, tax, security, or transaction obligations.
